Ruth was a school teacher. She was eight months pregnant with her second child when she died of hemorrhaging at a hosp in Gadsden, Al. This is from her obit. in the Decatur Daily Jan. 16, 1930 found on Microfilm at the B'ham. Library. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ and a member of the Mispah Chapter O.E.S. here.
